Thank you to everyone who participated in the previous Village Poll!
Since Hawthorn’s Kickstarterreached it’s first stretch goal, we unlocked the ability for the community to vote on their favorite pet option to be added to the game at Early Access.
One thousand, nine hundred and forty-eight fans voted on what small tamable creature we should add to the world of Hawthorn, and the top result was tiny hummingbirds! (See this Wikipedia page on the tiny “Bee Hummingbirds” of Earth). This was followed closely by tiny frogs, fireflies, and bees. Not one person voted for cricket/grasshopper.
Sorry, Jiminy Cricket. To those who did not get their vote, do not despair; we hope to be adding several more small creatures to Hawthorn in the future.
